Hazrat Abu Dharr radiyallahu anh said:

Once, the Prophet (pbuh) went out in winter. A lot of leaves were falling off the trees. When he held a branch of a tree, more leaves started to fall off. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said “O Abu Dharr!” I said, “Yes, o Messenger of Allah!” The Prophet (pbuh) said, “If a Muslim performs prayers in order to please Allah, his sins will be shed like the leaves of this tree are shed.” (Musnad Ahmad)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“Whoever attends Isha (prayer) in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) stood half of the night. And whoever prays Isha and Fajr in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) spend the entire night standing (in prayer).” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 221)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“No Salat is more burdensome to the hypocrites than the Fajr (dawn) prayer and the ‘Isha’ (night) prayer; and if they knew their merits, they would come to them even if they had to crawl to do so.” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. (Riyad as-Salihin 1073)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“I made it fard for your ummah to perform five daily prayers. And I made a promise to myself: If someone comes to me by paying attention to performing five daily prayers, I will send him to Paradise. I have nothing to say for the one who does pay attention to prayers.” (Abu Dawud)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The two Rak’ah before the dawn (Fajr) prayer are better than this world and all it contains.” [Muslim]……. (Riyad as-Salihin 1102)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“The key to Paradise is Salat, and the key to Salat is Wudu’.”

Importance Of Prayer (Salah) According to Quran

It is mentioned in the Quran:

When ye pass (Congregational) prayers, celebrate Allah’s praises, standing, sitting down, or lying down on your sides; but when ye are free from danger, set up Regular Prayers: For such prayers are enjoined on believers at stated times. [4:103]

in another place Quran says:

“The angels called to him as he was standing praying in the sanctuary: “Allah gives you good news of John; a believer in the word of God, honorable, moral, and a righteous prophet.” [3:39]
