Importance Of Prayer (Salah) According to Hadith’s

 Reported from Ibn Abbas (r.a.):

“Once, the Messenger of Allah said to his Companions, “Pray as follows ‘O Allah! Do not make anybody among the rebellious and deprived people.'” Then, he asked, “Do you know who is rebellious and deprived?” The Companions said, “Who? O Messenger of Allah!” The Prophet said, “He who does not perform prayers!” (Ibn Hajar “az-Zawajir” / Abu’l-Lays Samarqandi “Qurratu’l Uyun”)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“Whoever attends Isha (prayer) in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) stood half of the night. And whoever prays Isha and Fajr in congregation, then he has (the reward as if he had) spend the entire night standing (in prayer).” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 221)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“O Fatima! If you want to meet me in the hereafter, increase your prostrations (that is, perform prayers more.)” (Musnad Ahmad)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“The Prophet was asked: ‘Which deed is the best?’ So he said: ‘Salat in the beginning of its time.'” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 170)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “The two Rak’ah before the dawn (Fajr) prayer are better than this world and all it contains.” [Muslim]……. (Riyad as-Salihin 1102)

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

 “The place of prayer (salah) in religion is like the place of the head in the body.” (Majmau’l-Awsat, 3:154, (2313.) Imam Tabarani, Mu’jamu’s-Saghir)

Nay, seek (Allah’s) help with patient perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard, except to those who bring a lowly spirit,- [2:45]

in another place Quran says:

When ye travel through the earth, there is no blame on you if ye shorten your prayers, for fear the Unbelievers May attack you: For the Unbelievers are unto you open enemies. [4:101]

Here Quran describes believer:

Satan’s plan is (but) to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will ye not then abstain? [5:91]
